At first it was difficult finding swimming noodles in the end of winter, but thankfully I live in Florida and I found them eventually!
Maybe I'll post details on how I created them, or you can check out a combination of blog posts from this person, this person or this person. But, I sorta mixed and matched to create mine. Take a look! :)
Supplies:
Large Truffula Trees
- Tissue Paper
- Swimming Noodles (Yellow)
- Crepe Paper (Black)
- 14-20 gauge wire
- Tape
Small Truffula Trees
- Tissue Paper
- Neon Extra Long Drinking Straws (moderately difficult - have to wrap in tape to stabilize the bendy part - I used tape)
- Styrofoam balls split in half or something else to weigh and stab the straws into
- Easter basket green paper
- Black Pipe cleaners
- Tape (always want tape on hand)
She also outfitted the party with themed Dr. Suess games and snacks - I didn't include those here but I'm sure you can find similar from pinterest?
Since they were so light-weight we could just tape them to the wall and I choose to tape up in different heights - so simple!
Jessica had a variety of Dr. Seuss books around for added decoration
Used this space as a photo wall!

Some friends from one of my personal favorites, hand drawn with Dr Seuss inspiration
Thanks for looking!
